Functional Brief
A rotating cylindrical brush floats on a cushion of air to maintain an even and light contact pressure across the belt for the life of the brush. ------ E n e r g y C o n s u m p t i o n : Compressed air (Range: 0-600kPa) consumption under continuous use peaks at 0.130 Litres over the life of the brush. The mechanical soft start brush head with adjustable torque limits is powered by a 1.1kW DOL drive. ------ C o n t r o l O p t i o n s : STANDARD - adjust air pressure regulator (Range: 0-600kPa) to produce desired brush contact force. Benchmark = 14N per 100mm of brush width. AUTOMATE - Power, Pressure and Distance; PLC/SCADA connectable devices. Find more information under “Add-on Components”. ------ M e c h a n i c a l H a n d l i n g Modular design for rapid brush change over and foolproof re-assembly. View the “Brush changeover page manual“ or visit “Manuals” for a complete page list. ------ M a i n t e n a n c e Sliding friction has been designed out and critical parts resist corrosion. Spares are available but nobody buys any, reliability is designed in from the start. No other self adjusting belt cleaner could be as simple and reliable. Get an online quote Now!

The concept of cleaning a conveyor belt with a rotating brush is nothing new. Hands-on adjustable units mean just that, they require constant readjustment and at best the resulting performance is temporary. Spring loaded units are an improvement but lack the mechanical features that can identify and maintain peak performance. Also, the high cost associated with replacing worn brushes on either type is enough to make one hesitate at accepting either as a solution. The ASBII MHC900 Conveyor Belt Cleaner is a new generation concept with superior performance and reliability. Return on investment is recognised almost immediately. Eliminate system leaks and maintain control of product flow. All attempts to clean wet glass cullet using only static scrapers couldn't effectively remove all debris and resulted in forced equipment stoppages, health and safety issues and the need to engage professional cleaning contractors on an ongoing basis. The MHC900 belt cleaner resolved this major issue at our Dandenong plant. The ease in which brushes are replaced with minimal effort, minimal labour and equipment downtime was also a great feature. We currently have three units in operation and planning for more.
